Window Resizer changes the size and position of program windows on the screen. For example, you can tile two windows on your desktop (left and right half of the picture), which is very convenient if you use a large computer monitor.

In addition, you can set the display of single windows to “always on top”, i.e. the window will always be displayed on top of all other windows. This is, for example, very convenient if you permanently need the content displayed in one window, e.g. if you want to copy data from one window to another.

If you work as a graphic artist, web designer or software engineer you may have considered checking your drafts’ compatibility with older screen resolutions (e.g. 1024x768 pixels) – without having to change your current screen resolution. Use WinResizer to reduce individual windows to the desired size. This may also be very convenient as a preparation for screenshots.

The software requires no installation. It simply runs by double clicking on WinResizer.exe (no setup). I would recommend to save the .exe-file in the program directory and to create a corresponding link.
To start the program each time you start Windows, you can also create a shortcut in the startup folder. The program will run as tray icon as soon as you suffix the parameter “tray” to this autorun shortcut.
